Silicone Potassium Humate
Silicone potassium humate has excellent capacity to inhibit the hydration and swelling of clay in drilling mud. Silicone potassium humate is used primarily as a fluid loss control agent in fresh water and potassium muds ,to inhibit the swelling and sloughing of water sensitive formations, and to maintain the borehole safety. Silicone potassium humate also can effectively lower the viscosity and shear strength, control the rheological properties of muds. Silicone potassium humate has a good high temperature stability and can improve the wall building property of drilling muds in high temperature environments.
